We have a relaxed and casual dress code, allowing you to feel comfortable and at ease throughout their stay. As the resort is on a tropical beach, light and breathable clothing is often recommended. During mealtimes, we do request that you dress appropriately in dining attire, and we kindly ask you not to come to the restaurant in swimwear or sleeveless shirts. If you wish you can enjoy our island and all our outlets barefoot.

Cora Cora Maldives is located approximately 177 KM from Velana International Airport. The exact distance may vary depending on the transportation method used and the route taken. Typically, the resort can be reached via a seaplane transfer or a domestic flight + speedboat transfer from the airport.

On arrival at Velana International Airport, you will need to clear immigration and collect your luggage before coming out into the arrival hall, where our airport representatives will be waiting for you in front of the arrival gate, holding a board displaying “Cora Cora Maldives”. You will be escorted to the resort transfer.

Cora Cora Maldives is a scenic 45-minute flight by Seaplane away from Velana International Airport. As an alternative there is the 30-minutes transfer by Domestic Flight followed by a 20-minutes Speedboat journey.

• Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours. For your arrival, please note that the transfer will be arranged for all international flights landing no later than 3.30 PM. Please do keep in mind that if there are major delays in the flight or on the ground to due unforeseen circumstances (bad weather, technical issues, system failures, long queues in the airport etc.) a transfer on the same day cannot be guaranteed.
• For your departure day, only international flights departing after 9 AM will be catered by Seaplane transfers.
• If you are arriving or departing outside these timings, you will need to overnight in a hotel in the Greater Male’ area.

Seaplane Luggage Information:

Baggage allowance is 20kg per person and hand luggage allowance is 5 kg per person. Any excess weight over this will be charged at US$ 6.04+ taxes per kg at the time of check-in. Luggage Excess Fee is subject to change without any prior notification. The weight for any bag should not exceed 32kg. Please also note that children below 2 years flying free of charge do not have any luggage weight.
